General Questions Q: Do I have to take my clothes off for a massage? - For a table massage, the more clothes you remove the
more effective the massage. However, your comfort is very important and some people feel more comfortable leaving their
undergarments on. Conservative draping is always practiced for the clients comfort and modesty.
Q. Why do I have to fill out a questionnaire? - Massage is not recommended for some medical conditions and may need to be modified
for others. Knowing relevant health information will allow me to modify and adapt massage for your unique condition
and needs.
Q. How are
my pedicures different from spa's or discount salon pedicures? - I practice a high degree of sanitation and believe that unless instruments are autoclaved (hospital grade sterilization)
the client is at risk for picking up fungus, parasites or infections. My emphasis is on healthy feet and not just pampering
and polish. Though my clients can and do enjoy both pampering and polish during their pedicures while relaxing in my
state-of-the-art, electric massage bed in my private studio.
- About The Business
- Where are you located, and is there parking? I am located
at 4104 Arctic Blvd., Suite 201, which is between Tudor and 36th on Arctic Blvd. There is parking.
- What are your hours? My hours vary, some evening, some weekend
and sometimes during the day.
- Why are
my prices lower than a number of other Massage Therapists? After graduatring from school it struck me that
massage is so expensive that often those who need it most are the least likely to afford one. Caregivers, those with
fixed incomes and so on. Therefore, I have tried to create a fee structure that will make massage available to a larger
segment of the population.
- Will I bill
your insurance? Not currently, but perhaps in the future.
